Hi, Molly Moran here again. The question is, “do you use paper towels to clean houses?”
The answer to this is absolutely not. We don’t use paper towels for a number of reasons, the primary one being that we don’t want to create more trash for the landfill while we are trying to clean a space!
As an eco-conscious cleaning company, we look at our impact to the environment across the board so we wouldn’t consider using paper towels, recycled or otherwise, to clean. For this same reason, we purchase cleaning products in bulk whenever we can: we buy large drum sizes of all-purpose and glass cleaner that we can then mix ourselves to the correct ratio in spray bottles that we use over and over again.
The secondary reason we don’t use paper towels in cleaning is that they are far inferior to microfiber in removing dirt and germs from a surface.
